I LOVE this picture!! I love how you captured the colors of the shells and the view so close to them. How did you get this viewpoint?

My secret weapon is a Nikon point-and-shoot. I used the Close-Up (or Macro in other cameras) auto settings. To get this viewpoint, I simply held the camera as close to the sand as possible, used the LCD to compose the shot, and took the picture.
I bet you'll start experimenting with that technique now. :D I look forward to viewing your close-up shots.
