Getting to the park entrance involves what feels like an intrusion through a quiet residential block. I find it quite amusing. Only a small brown sign on the road marks the existence of this 400-acre park; so, unless you're looking for it, you wouldn't know there's an oasis of serenity that takes the city out of you. And, yes, there are alligators in the water, too. :)

but a new way of seeing things.”
